Please delete if this is a D_B.

First Buck O'Neil, and now Chiefs founder/owner Lamar Hunt is slipping fast. What Lamar Hunt has meant to not just Kansas City but American sports in unreal. He has two championship trophies named after him.

Keep fighing Lamar! We're all praying for you!

I just hope you're not going to have to change the title of this thread soon. All the man has done is start the AFL, name the Super Bowl, and been an exemplary owner. It just sucks the Chiefs never won him the trophy that bears his name in my lifetime.

1962 AFL Champs. Hell of a double-OT win over the Oilers.

Well, at least the Wizards won the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup once! ;)
