That's kind of sad. I had read a profile of Haggard that made me like the guy. He had political clout, but he wasn't going all over the place saying dumb things...the AP noted the only bumper sticker on his car was a "Vote for Pedro" one that his kids put on. He seemed to be the real deal. If this story isn't true, then he ought to sue the hell out of some people, starting with a lying-ass male whore.

A sudden about-face in the scandal facing New Life Church's pastor.

After Pastor Ted Haggard went public Wednesday night denying allegations of a homosexual affair, senior church officials told KKTV 11News Thursday evening, Pastor Ted Haggard has admitted to some of the claims made by a former male escort. The church's Acting Senior Pastor, Ross Parsley, tells KKTV 11 News that Pastor Haggard has admitted to some of the indiscretions claimed by Mike Jones, but not all of them.

An email has also reportedly been sent to Church staff saying Haggard admitted to some of the accusations.

No one is less of a fan of all organized religion than yours truly, but I honestly feel sorry for this poor bastard. He repressed himself until he blew apart at the seams, an American story that Nathaniel Hawthorne first made famous.

When he continued to deny who he was and badmouth the very existence of the person he was paying, he was outed as a fraud.

He was just following in the words of Charlie Sheen, when asked why he -- a movie star -- would pay for sex.
