But the Stockton Cal League franchise does not own the trademark for Mudville Nine. That is owned by another Cal League franchise.

Stockton and Visalia actually swapped franchise several years back, and the Siedler ownership got to keep the Mudville Nine trademark. So that now resides with Visalia.
