Another former pro wrestler dead

Discussion in 'Sports and News' started by Evil ... Thy name is Orville Redenbacher!!, Jul 20, 2007.

  1. George Caiazo — the former half of a world wrestling tag-team championship team — has been found dead at his New Hampshire home, according to the Charleston Post and Courier.

Caiazo, who was more known as his wrestling name, John Kronus, teamed with Perry Saturn (real name Perry Satullo) to form The Eliminators, a top act during the mid-1990s in the now-defunct Extreme Championship Wrestling league.

Caiazo teamed later in his career with New Jack (Jerome Young) to win the ECW tag-team belts from The Dudleys, and retired from wrestling in 2002.

While a cause of death is unknown at this time, a report on The Wrestling News Page claims Caiazo had a knee surgery last week that left him prone to blood clots.

That's too bad. Go in for knee surgery and a couple week later end up in the morgue.

Makes me nervous too. My dad is going in for his second hip replacement this fall.
