Another concert thread: Which band/singer/act have you seen the most times?

    See above... REM is the band I HAVEN'T seen that I want to see. John, you know where to find me when they hit California again.

    Rush -- 7 times
    Tom Petty -- 2 times
    Scorpions -- 2 times
    Sister Hazel -- 2 times

    Elton John -- 4 times (three times with Billy Joel, once on his solo piano only tour)
    Billy Joel -- 3 times (plus two afternoon soundchecks where he did songs he didn't play that night)
    Pink Floyd -- 3 times.

    Stevie Nicks: 10 times (Five times completely solo, twice with Fleetwood Mac, twice in a "Stevie Nicks and Friends" concert, one time with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers)
    U2: Twice
    Crosby, Stills & Nash: Once and (CSNY once)
    Those are all my multiple acts.

    I've also seen BB King a couple of times, Joe Satriani 2-3 times, Buddy Guy twice and Robert Cray (either on a festival, opening act or as the headliner) four times.

    If there's a band I REALLY want to see it would have to be one involving Plant, Page, Jones and (Jason) Bonham.

    If that group went on tour AS Led Zeppelin, I'd be first in line. Even on deadline night.

    I'm not a concert guy; I've been to maybe 10 in my life. Barenaked Ladies three times being the most.

    R.E.M. - 4 or 5 times, I forget right now

    Billy Joel - 4 times (and would up having drinks with the band, minus Joel, at the Nashville Hyatt bar after the show; this was in 1977 or so).

    Fleetwood Mac - 3 times

    Lollapalooza 1992 -- Lush, Ice Cube (best act of the day), Soundgarden, Ministry (loudest show ever!), Pearl Jam, Jesus and Mary Chain, Red Hot Chili Pepper.

    And I'm quite proud I've never seen The Dead or any incarnation of The Dead. Or Buffett or Dave Matthews!!

    I can't think of any more than that right now.
