Another college shooting - two dead at Central Arkansas

From looking at satellite photos on Google, I think "alley" is a bit of misnomer. The area between the two buildings contains a sidewalk, grass and several trees. Looks like a major pedestrian route on campus.

 

Arkansas media must be hypersensitive right now to violence, and I can't blame them.

Stuff like a two-bit drug deal happens everywhere. But a two-bit drug deal on a college campus gone wrong, on top of the too-fresh deaths of Bill Gwatney and Anne Pressly, and you have a lot to digest in a month's time.

Two dead in an apartment complex in 09-erville barely makes briefs in the DOG.

 

That's always been the case.
Sensational deaths always get more coverage.
