Surprising in that community, but crime has been on a rise for the last few years.

And the story quotes The Log Cabin Democrat, but there is no story on their Web site. I'd like to see what they know about the shooting.

At the bottom of the story it quotes the sheriff saying he understands two are dead. Don't know if that's an update from the story you saw, ijag.

Wow.

 

It happened in an alley outside the dorm and one of those shot was not a student. Sounds like a drug deal gone bad....outside the dorm in an alley, non-student involved...

 

And, from what I understand, the dorm was within sight of the campus police station.

 

Both of the people who died were UCA students, as per The Log Cabin Democrat.
