An executive? Using corporate doublespeak? Say it ain't so!

Well, if he were to get fired, I'm sure Gannett would have a spot for him. He'd fit right in.

Yeah, Chicago was pretty much a disaster the final 20 years of Stagg's run.

I hope this story doesn't overshadow the team in Tuscaloosa. :D

Definitely ain't signing that 9th-string QB this year.

That story would probably get more hits than this one on AL.com. :D

So what would be the crowd expectations for that first season or two back? After all this heavy lifting, tears and hand-wringing to get football back, I'd think if there aren't 100 percent sellouts, it's going to reflect pretty poorly on the fans.

Actually, the UAB coverage has gotten a ton of comments, but it's mostly from Alabama fans to say "who cares?" or Auburn fans to taunt Alabama fans because Bryant Jr and the boys were not able to kill UAB football.

Sell out Legion Field??? How about average 30,000.

In the tradition of college football in the state of Alabama, anything short of a national title will be a travesty.

Have they ever sold out the stadium? Ever?

That is an actual question. I really do not know the answer, though I have a pretty good idea of what it is.

It's possible Saban did a speaking engagement there. That would sell the place out. :D

This is an insane statement. My chances of nailing Kate Upton tonight are better than UAB's of selling out Legion Field. Hell, have they ever even filled half that place?
