The James Cameron special was really pretty cool...he gathered a team of experts to compile the latest theories and info about the sinking, and then he picked apart the mistakes in his own movie. Finally, he asked the experts "knowing what you know now, if you had been the Captain, what would you have done." Cameron says he would have driven the boat backwards the 5 miles to the HMS California...or he would have driven the boat back into the iceberg, and had the people from the boat scramble onto the ice.
