Fuckers. This is the saddest day in Cleveland Indians history.

True ... she watched an MLB game that didn't have Ichiro. Impressive. :D

For those of us who thought the last play at first was close, obviously we didn't have as good of a view as the AP writer, who wrote this gem:

He finished it off in quick fashion in the ninth. Sanchez struck out Conor Jackson swinging on a 1-2 pitch, got Luis Gonzalez to pop out to third, then retired Eric Byrnes on a sharp grounder to shortstop Hanley Ramirez, whose throw to first easily beat the runner.

I was able to listen to it on ESPN radio as I drove home. The announcer didn't make it sound exceptionally close, but he paused before he said the guy was out, so you knew it had to be close. But Don Denkinger's long gone, so who's gonna call a guy safe on a bang-bang play at first on what would be the final out of a no-hitter?

Five months ago I watched Sanchez pitch the home opener for the Mudcats. I figured he was solid, not spectacular, and would have a decent MLB career. So far, I've been proven wrong.

How the hell do you get picked off 3rd by a lefty? That's rare.

    Posada picked him off.

When are the Marlins moving to Vegas? If they can get 4 no-nos and 2 WS titles in such a short time, they should go to Vegas.

Because what is won in Miami stays in Miami. ::)
