This is bad to say, but with Sheen it was more mean-spirited and I thought funnier...

The show is such a cash cow at this point that I could see them trying to milk as much as they can from it. But the producer is so rich at this point and has the biggest hit on TV, so he may just say "fuck it" and walk away.

 

I hate when these kinds of "controversies" come up -

Dude said what he said to a church audience who obviously agrees with him and believes the same things.

Why do you think it makes them stupid? Please compare their bank accounts to those of producers who aim higher. Very smart producers pander to the lowest denominator for a damn good reason, it's where the money is.

Produce quality, struggle financially. Produce filth, become obscenely rich. Hmm, why would they ever choose the latter?
