I will update it b/c it is now confirmed in multiple places. Disagree that TMZ attached makes it look tawdry.

    Oh man. Wow.

It's on the L.A. Times Web site.

    Horrible news.

Jesus, look at that car. Amazing there was one survivor.

First photo on the Angels' Web site is of Adenhart pitching last night.

And, yeah, he was a good looking prospect.

    RIP.

Times says they're keeping the intersection closed until at least noon Pacific today to continue the investigation.

10/1 he turns out to be a raging drunk.

    Pennsylvania kid, too.

I didn't know this before today, but Adenhart went to high school in Williamsport.

My guess is the two people sitting in the front and back on the passenger side were killed instantly and that the survivor was the only one wearing a seatbelt.

OMG. I hadn't heard of Nick Adenhart, but that certainly doesn't matter.

Flashbacks of Darryl Kile and Josh Hancock.

    RIP.

That's Williamsport, MD. Which is right outside of Hagerstown.

    Not Pennsylvania, though close.

Williamsport, Md., is just south of Hagerstown, which is right on the Pennsylvania-Maryland state line, south of Greencastle.

Herald-Mail is on top of the story, actually.
