"Alvin and the Chipmunks" is a high-pitched scream.

    To a few people.

Many, many more people would disagree with your attempt at tunesnobbery.

Ask any Brit and they'll tell you The Jam were equally as important as The Clash.

I like the Clash. U2 not so much.

I like the Clash and U2.
    It is possible.
(I'm still not paying $40 or $20 to see a 3D concert movie, even if it's Jesus Christ in a jug band with Francis Bacon and Thurman Munson.)

Wait. Forty bucks to see a U2 concert movie. You are out of your fucking mind.

Somebody on the first page said the local IMAX wanted $40. That's crazy.

I saw U23D tonight for $11.95. And it was worth the $40 others paid to see it. And then some. Breathtaking. Astonishing.

U2 3D finally made its way to the regular movie theaters this weekend.

I loved it. And I only paid $9.50.

U2 was smart to film the movie in South America. The rock crowds down there are insane. See the Rush and Iron Maiden Rio DVDs for proof. If there was one country I'd go see a concert in, it has to be Brazil. They're into it from the start. Nobody's sitting down. Everybody is yelling. I'd love to make it down there one day to watch a huge rock show, just to be a part of the experience.

And yes, this is the first can't-miss movie of 2008.

    Word for word.
Those are the two can't-miss-movies of 2008.

Yeah, the Dark Knight already found a way to make the Joker even creepier...

If the U2 concert film is so great, why is it getting its ass kicked by Billy Ray's daughter? :)
