$2.079 for Regular is the lowest I've seen here.

Depends on where you're going in Iowa.

$2.59 today in Microville, down $.04 since last week, and $.30 higher than on election day.

As long as OPEC can't keep its stuff together, it'll keep dropping. At least until March, when the refineries shut down for summer blend.

As soon as I'm off work, I'm getting me a tankful of $2.01.

Down to $1.999 in the next town over from me. Over the past two weeks the station by my house has gone down from 2.259 to 2.199 to 2.159 and was now down to 2.099 today.

I read a theory on a BLOG! that the Saudis and other OPEC nations are lowering the gas prices on purpose. One theory is it is to keep Americans from seriously getting into hybrid car design. The other is they are doing it to put a serious hurt on Iran and its wacky president.

And suddenly, I'm missing Giant Eagle. Safe to say there's none around these parts.

When E-85 was the hot topic last summer, I checked around to see if anyone near me sold it. One station in Virginia had it ... at 4.04 a gallon. Too bad ethanol isn't made from tobacco.
