And the winner is: Brian Adams, formerly Crush in the WWE and WCW. Died today at 43, according to Meltzer. No other details available, except it's not THAT guy.

Should there be a RUNNING DEAD WRESTLER THREAD?

  3. i didn't know who this was so I googled him and found his Wikipedia page--one question--who the hell updates a guy like Brian Adam's page so fast?

One guess, and he started this thread. :)

yeah, but what do you do first? Do you update Wikipedia and run the risk of someone else starting a thread (on another board, perhaps, strictly as an example), or do you start the thread and then vamanos to Wikipedia post-haste? Quite the conundrum.

Not I. The Wikipedos move quick. Sometimes TOO quick (Benoit).

Wonder if it's a guy in Stamford, CT, who isn't affiliated with WWE.

I forgot that he was the dreadful "Demon" in the WCW...BRILLIANT!

Dale Torborg, the son of former major league manager Jeff Torborg, was the Demon in WCW. Adams must have done a cameo with it at some point, too.

From what I remember, Adams did a biker gimmick in WCW and later as one of the Disciples of Apocolypse in the WW(F)E. He was a guy who was jacked up as well. I'd guess this is definitely one of the road-related deaths.

I think I liked it better when wrestling was fake.

Never could figure out why the WWF couldn't leave well enough alone with Ax and Smash. Almost as bad as when they decided to create faux Funk brothers (Jimmy Jack and Hoss)
