I believe him. Looked like he plays a lot when he stopped in at Dan Patrick's new palace earlier this year.

Adam Sandler was a helluva lot funnier 20 years ago.
I will be going to this movie.

Was Bird taller than Magic, who was 6'9?

Bird is listed at 6-9 as well. Must be some forced perspective with how they were posed. Bird certainly wasn't that much taller than Magic. If Magic is 6-9, Bird looks like a 7-footer in that cutout.

There are some odd things about this poster:

    — bird’s beer gut. Seriously, did he just eat a whole cake?
    — bird’s hair adds an inch to his height.
    — their asses are pushing into each other a little to much.
    — this campaign sparked this video, which make as much sense to me now as it did then.

Apropos of nothing, here's what Mike Reno, lead singer of Loverboy, looks like now

Great movie. Sandler was perfect. I thought I hated it for the first half hour, then I got into the rhythms of the movie and past finding Sandler’s character only unlikable. I kept thinking this was a role that would have gone to the 1970s Dustin Hoffman. The last half hour (maybe fifteen minutes, I have no idea) was so good.

Yeah. Going into Uncut Gems I hadn't read much about who made it. About two minutes into it I was like, this has to be the guys who made the....one with Robert Pattinson. Couldn't think of the name at the time. But definitely similarities between the two as far as tone/intensity/anxiety-inducing music, etc.
