Fox's Monday-night critic fave "Lone Star."

Didn't watch it, but have a friend who was already VERY hooked on it. Someone's gonna be mightily pissed.

It's FOX. If a show gets any kind of critical acclaim, it seems like it eventually has to go, at least recently. Whereas on other networks, they seem a bit more willing to go, "Hey, let's at least keep it on the air for a couple seasons, and maybe the audience will find it." FOX also seems to have no interest in prestige things like awards; the networks (and also movie studios) are willing to take some losses on shows if they get some Golden Globes and Emmys in return.

I didn't watch it either, but it didn't look very promising. But, that's IMO.
