    have yet to be mentioned.

    But Cheers will always be my favourite

    While not written for the show, the best instrumental 'theme song' on today's TV shows is Canção Do Mar which is used on SouthLAnd





    (Edited to add: the original song does have lyrics but only the instrumental sections are used in the titles for SouthLAnd)

    The Cartwrights' song was better than anything to come out of Hartford.

    I always loved the instrumental for Magnum PI and Miami Vice. Simon & Simon is also a good one.

    One of the best in making introductory song and images work together is Dexter. The song itself isn't any great shakes, but when laid under all those little every-day actions that signify menace, it works perfectly.
