    "A three-hour tour! A three-hour tour!"
"Gilligan's Island." Can't say I'm surprised at the finalists although "Happy Days" wouldn't have been a shocker either.

I've always really liked the Cheers theme.

That's horseshit. It's "Where Everybody Knows Your Name" or "Suicide Is Painless."

    Gilligan's Island is stupid.

I would lean toward "Suicide Is Painless" as the better song and "Where Everybody Knows Your Name" as the better encapsulation of the show, though both are very strong on both fronts.

In the category of songs made with the specific purpose of introducing the show, "Welcome Back" tops "The Ballad of Gilligan's Isle" easily. So does "Three's Company, Too," in my opinion.

I could be wrong, but I think the MASH and Cheers songs were written just for the shows too.

    Green Acres is better.

"Suicide is Painless" was written for the movie.
