    Only fifteen cents? Christmas eve I paid $2.82. It is now $3.29 and probably more tomorrow.

    Filled up at my local Thornton's in the western suburbs of Chicago on December 30th. Regular was $3.299 @ gallon. Yesterday same station was $3.599. Thirty cents @ gallon jump in 6 days.

    We saw this movie in 2006 and 2008. GOP-friendly oilers hiked it till it hurt and then cut the cord right before election day. Didn't work either time.

    Won't work in 2012 either, as the electorate is wise to the maneuver by now.
