    This is why we need the renowned world-class journalism of the New York Times. Without it, I never would have known that the people of East Timor "have for centuries revered and even worshiped crocodiles."

    Not only that, attacks on humans by said crocodiles in East Timor "have increased 20-fold in the past decade, numbering at least one death a month in a country of 1.2 million people."

    So, yeah, while this might be a little exaggerated, that was $15 well spent this month.

    I remember watching with my boys of Steve Irwin in a video saving crocs in East Timor. I learned for the first time where East Timor was. Damn, good memories.
