So it's finally over. Unlike last year, it wasn't even a good game.

It's time to say it: Florida showed it had a place in the game. Of course, there was lots of manipulation and convenience involved, but college football can now ignore that.

So let's name off some award winners:

Jim Tressel: Nice play call in the 2nd quarter, ftard.

USC: Should have beaten UCLA and saved us all the arguing.

Arkansas and Tennessee offenses: Enjoy the holiday?

FOX broadcasters: You guys suck. Get a clue before next year.

And let's hope the NCAA gets a clue and fixes this system soon.

USC's loss to UCLA (congrats, Matt Foley) was the most bizarre part of this whole thing. Shoulda been USC against (insert school here).

Somehow I forgot to rip Emmitt Smith in all of this.

Here's to LaDanian Tomlinson's good health! Try to be gracious when he gets the record, Emmitt.

I mentioned the Fox commentators to someone else tonight. Good Christ, were they horrible. All the way around, every game, just unbelievably bad.

Glad I was at work, with the volume down.

Maybe they should've had Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul do this broadcast.

I would have preferred some combination of the casts from House and The War at Home.

What was sad, at least for me, was listening to Pat Summerall call the Cotton Bowl.

Man, I used to love that guy. But, and it pains me to say this, he was terrible for the first half of that New Year's Day game. I know it was early and all, but there were just long, painful stretches of dead air. And whoever the poor sap was with him, he tried valiantly several times to save the broadcast by just making shit up, but it was a lost cause. Summerall just left him nothing.

Interesting you'd put this on the AG board Dye. But thanks for the admission.

That's where the first one should have been. It's only been here for hours. Glad you finally got around to it.
