Two opines i.e. her FB feed:

    1. The exterior photograph of the television station looks like a small-town automobile repair shop ... no offense to small-town automobile repair shops. Perhaps that building is the engineer's shop.

    2. The mayor's hairy ass was too much.

Given the crazy vibe that so many TV women that I met while in newspapers possess I'm shocked meltdowns like these down happen more frequently.

    1. That’s KTWO-TV in Casper, not her station.
    2. Yeah.

LOL! OK, I stand corrected. Guess I missed a Casper connection somewhere along the way. Cannot imagine why. In a tip of the cap to Batman, that situation is bat-shit crazy.

Oh, the previous poster who mentioned Ms. Athens raspy voice was dead-on.

Anyone who goes into a TV on-air role has to be a bit of an egomaniac (sorry exmediahack). Some can’t control their behavior, but most can.

This chick? She looks scarily like a living CalArts cartoon character.

What has yet to be reported. Anchorage is mid process of pushing a giant cares act use bill through. A small portion was reserved for homeless shelters. People have been super resistant to the shelters and called it a commi agenda. Its a bit late to start a new budget proposal and the money expires in January. With no Mayor and no immediate succession, there will likely be succession conflicts and possibly no strong leadership able to get the budget passed. Anchorage could possibly loose a huge chunk of the cares act money because of the resignation drama....
