You just don't plan on any missing limbs while wrapping gifts.

What are three things Chef never leaves home without?

Damn it. I clicked on this, hoping Chef would be telling a root canal story.

A machete, some mescaline and an office stapler.

A nice flat surface that is not carpeted, good wrapping paper, sharp scissors and good tape is all you need.

If you try to wrap on carpet with the cheapest crappy tape and paper from Walmart and cut with scissors you bought at the dollar store, then you deserve the misery.

It's just like shaving; if you spend a few extra bucks, you will have a much, much better experience.

Hence the Xacto knife; eliminates the need for scissors and allows you to cut on carpet.

But if you are folding on the carpet, you will get soft edges on your package.

    I know, that's what she said. [/MichaelScott]

I spent about 18 holidays being single and wrapping all of my presents. It's called experience.

Now, I just wrap my wife's gifts.

I'm actually pretty good at it.

    Yes, I'm a mama's boy.
