Justin Williams? Yeah, hell, even I think he's cute. And my wife was swooning over him.

 

I have 3 1/2 more episodes of the Wire to watch before I can get to this. I have a feeling I'll be watching last night's and tonight's on DVR as a double-feature. Then again, the draw of live-blogging AI tryouts on SJ is tempting...

 

I'm still on yesterday's (well, Tuesday's), but Mike Davis, the actor on the speedboat? I could like him. He has pretty eyes.

His eyes are even better than Davis'. What a story, too.

 

The hostile black guy had a good voice. But I think they know that some of these timebombs can be a problem for image. Imagine if he'd wound up live. Police might have had to escort him out or keep him from attacking Simon when the real criticism starts.

 

The way they treated some of the contestants tonight was just reprehensive. The "cheap demonstration" of the guy who couldn't remember his lyrics was the absolute worst. Come on, AI.

 

idol has been on for how many seasons? these people know what they're getting into.

did anyone else come out of last night's episode thinking Mary J. Blige came off as an absolute prick?

 

That one guy who was taking care of his sick mother almost had me in tears (he wore a LA hat). great story, great voice.
