  1. AT&T supported Kris but not Adam.

I can only conclude that AT&T has evangelical roots.

Not even close to what the story said, but OK. :)

Kris can keep that shitty first song he's stuck with.

IJAG is right. I'm guessing that the groups in Arkansas are the first ones that ever requested this, or the first time it got publicized. It will probably become the norm because AI will surely promote viewing parties. Now, if AT&T denied Adam supporters this would not just be a story, but a controversy. That's not what happened at all. This is a non-starter.

Plus, as I told a friend on FB who complained about it last week: Everyone in San Diego already has a phone and knows how to use it. People in Arkansas might never have seen a cell phone. :D

It's exactly what the story I read said.

ATT let Kris voters in Arkansas vote a dozen times at the push of a single button.

    Kris voting on roids.

AI had better massively change the final format (or even final four onward), or their ratings will be fractured. Simon or not.

1.) AT&T "lets" anyone power vote.
2.) AT&T didn't organize the parties, therefore, they were not supporting him.
3.) The show says power votes can be disqualified.
4.) Adam's supporters didn't organize parties or ask AT&T representatives to show up. Too bad for them.

IF AT&T came out and said "We are throwing a party for Kris Allen, come get a free phone and text 19,000 times a minute" then yes. But that's not at all what happened, and you're smart enough to know that.

ID, I've dated/adored/known more than my share of boys living in Arkansas. They all had cell phones too. Hence the reason it's a joke.

AT&T didn't accidentally show up.... and YOU are smarter than that.

    BTW, what does THIS mean?

3.) The show says power votes can be disqualified.

    Can?
