National Jihad League commissioner Mohammed Allah-Del suspended Mr. Awlaki for 6 future terrorists attacks for his unauthorized communication and violation of the NJL's Personal Conduct Code. The suspension can be reduced to 4 terrorist attacks if Mr. Awaki can demostrate his ability to conduct Jihads according to the collective bargaining agreement. This means he can only communicate with the media AFTER an attack, not before. Mr. Awaki's agent, Bernie Goldstein of Abrams, Lowenstein, Aaronson and Horowitz (ALAH) said he and his client accept the commissioner's judgment as if it was the word of the Prophet, blessed by his name, and looks forward to getting back into Jihad as soon as possible. He'll be working out in an undisclosed gym and munitions factory in suburban Phoenix, staying in shape for his return in 4-6 weeks.

Hearing what set Mr Awlaki off was Utah's move to the Pac 10.

In other news Mr Awlaki's father is suing the Justice Dept to prevent his son's assassination.

    From NY Times :

"Mr. Awlaki's father, Nasser al-Awlaki, contends that his son is not the terrorist the administration portrays him to be. He retained two groups of human rights lawyers to pursue a legal challenge to his son's inclusion on a list of people to be killed by American forces or agents without a trial.

Working without compensation, the groups began developing a lawsuit over whether the executive branch could lawfully carry out such a killing in the face of the Constitution's protection against deprivation of life "without due process of law."

But on July 16 — before the groups were ready to file such a lawsuit — the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Asset Control announced that it was applying the designation of global terrorist to Mr. Awlaki. That blocked his assets and made it a crime for Americans to engage in transactions with him or for his benefit without a license. The lawyers are challenging that regulation."

Maybe this is the approach that Cecil Newton should take.

too late Naseer!... US Predator UAVs Arrive At Secret Yemen Base To Hunt Al Awakli Down
November 9, 2010, 2:17 PM (GMT+02:00) US Predator UAVs - now in Yemen In the first week of November, directly after the discovery of two explosive parcels mailed from Yemen to the United States, Washington moved a squadron of Predator drones to a secret base at the Yemeni Red Sea port of Al Hodaydah , exclusive military sources disclose. Until now, the covert facility - finished in April on a site CIA director Leon Panetta has selected last January - was allotted to US Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) units for mounting clandestine raids against Al Qaeda cells deep inside Yemen.

The new deployment of drones elevates American military intervention in Yemen by another notch.

Middle East sources note that it is the first time in seven years that US air strike forces are stationed on Arabian Peninsula soil. In 2003, the American Air force dismantled its Saudi base and withdrew to Qatar and Oman.
Monday, Nov. 8, Yemeni Foreign Minsiter Abu Bakr al-Kurbi stated: "The United States cooperates with Yemen in intelligence but the operations are conducted by the Yemeni security forces."

Nonetheless, US military sources in Washington reiterated that America had deployed Predators in Yemen. Asked to comment on these reports, Pentagon spokesman Col. Dave Lapan said: "We have any number of capabilities and we don't talk about specifics."

To pacify the Yemeni government, certain American officials claimed the drones deployed in Al Hodaydah were not armed with missiles although they did not confirm or deny that missiles adapted to the Predators were present at the base ready for immediate action should the need or opportunity arise to strike an important al Qaeda target. Other US sources claimed the Predators were armed but had never fired missiles as yet.

Debkafile's military sources explain the mixed accounts by the fact that Washington and Sanaa are still bargaining hard on terms for activating armed US drones from Yemeni soil. At the same time, should the American commanders at Hodeira see a good chance of targeting a high-profile al Qaeda operative, such as Anwar Al Awlaki, they will not think twice before doing so - even in the middle of these negotiations.
