For a country known for making jokes about "raising the white flag" for France and "David Hasselhoff" for Germany; why does it surprise anyone that they point out Sylvestor Stallone? It isn't exactly like we are so much nicer and do things so differently.

On top of that, we are a fat nation. People here can be quite lazy. Big cars drive us around and if you throw someone from the midwest into Manhattan they get lost looking at a subway map.

While I don't think we are a nation of complete morons, a lot of times we get way too defensive about things. So, a bunch of Europeans view us as fat; here's a shocker: so do Asians! Maybe if our nation cut down on said weight gain other nations wouldn't be able to make that joke.

 

I wonder if more than 1/5 of French people can find France on a map?

 

Or South Africa.
