    SportsBusiness Daily seeks an Assistant Managing Editor and Staff Writers for an exciting new international venture. This AME position would be the No. 2 spot in a new department. The AME would handle news aggregation, line-editing, writing and other tasks. AME would assist the managing editor in creating and updating story budget, track daily and weekly deadlines and make sure stories are well written and adequately sourced and documented. Qualified candidates for the Staff Writer positions will have excellent knowledge of sports and business, with strong writing and verbal skills. Must have solid work ethic and thrive in a team environment. Strong copy editing skills needed. Candidates for either position must be adaptable and have ability to pick up multiple tasks, must be comfortable with news aggregation, familiar with social media, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced news environment with multiple daily deadlines.
