Amazing performance - Susan Boyle on Britain's Got Talent

Looks like her 15 minutes will continue. A book deal and a Hollywood movie.

She might have a chance to do something in the U.S. depending on the material she gets to work with. I don't think she'll have much of a career in Britain, but she might be able to at least get a recording contract in the States.

Whether the music she's gotten so far is going to appeal to the masses here or some other country is anyone's guess. But it's possible that American listeners will latch on, or have already done so to the extent that they'll buy something she puts out.

 

f_t, I get what you're saying. But here in America we either want pop stardom or we want trainwrecks (or both (hi Brit-Brit!)). A flash-in-the-pan (as she may well turn out to be) with extraordinary talent just becomes a one-hit wonder and everyone gets mocked.

Sadly, she'll probably be outsold by William Hung.
