Anyone know how many were from the newsroom?

Wow. I have family in Amarillo; that place still had an afternoon paper as recently as 10 years ago, and the local TV stations aren't anything to write home about. I figured that's the type of environment where newspapers would still do well.

All I know for sure is that one sports reporter and a sports copy editor got cut.

Were these layoffs only in Amarillo, or did other papers in the chain (ie. Lubbock) get hit?
