Am I wrong for re-assessing Rick Springfield?

Rick Springfield seems a pleasant enough sort, but I saved my musical devotion for Shaun Cassidy.

  3. I actually remember that song. Pretty funny.

Not wrong at all, Bubbler. I would have never listened to him when I was in Jr. H.S. / H.S. But at a certain point, I just wanted some power pop music that is catchy, especially when I exercise. And I kind of dig him, too. He's not high on my hipster playlist, but if Jessie's Girl comes on randomly while I am running, I can lose myself in it and that is what the music is supposed to do when I am running.

Ace, Rick Springfield was/is way more hunky than Shaun Cassidy.

Jessie's Girl is definitely one of my fave songs from high school. (Damn, I'm old!)

I'll give you that, Rosie. And he is one of those artists that I like even though I feel like I am not supposed to.
