Am I the only one annoyed by double proper nouns?

    One of big pet peeves of mine, and this is an acceptable solution.

    I had an editor that would (and still does) do that all the time. He didn't (and doesn't) believe in using the word "on" in the newspaper. Luckily, I no longer work for that mental defective.

    I solve this by never telling anyone about an article from USA Today.
