Alternative sources of boxscores

Discussion in 'Journalism topics only' started by kimronspringle, Feb 3, 2010.

  1. Our AP service has been radically altered.

We will no longer get baseball or football boxscores from teams outside of our state. As long as I can remember, our paper's had a baseball page, but that is in jeopardy if we don't find another source for boxscores.

Does anyone know of stat or wire services other than the AP that provide that information to print products (STATs is half-owned by the AP and does not work with print publications).

And please, don't suggest spending the money to get the service from the AP, that's out of my hands and not going to happen.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
