Some shows get their viewers by actually writing good characters and good storylines. Lena Dunham is too lazy and to untalented to do it that way. All she has is shock.

 

I've always wondered about people who say "tastes like ass." I've always wanted to ask them how do they know. ???

I like it when my cultural horizons are expanded.

 

A lot of the show has those moments. It's an average show, propped up by some in the critical community because of its explicit content. It's hard to tell where Dunham goes after this, in terms of her career. I suppose the show can go on and on and on. She'd make a decent talk show host.

 

I can handle all manner of political talk on TV, all violence, all cursing, just about all everything ... but the idea that "Girls" is on the air and influencing the public makes me very angry.

 

If it influences women to consider butt stuff, everybody wins.
