    I think it's actually the opposite. Your hormonal system is pretty complex, and sometimes you get unexpected results from tweaking with one of the many hormones.

    Hgh isn't the same as testosterone.

    Enhanced platelet therapy is not new. The link is to an american Academy of Orthopedic Surgery press release from 2007. Sort of experimental and certainly not illegal. It is NOT blood doping, eventhough platelets are a blood product.

    I honestly can't remember - did Tiger bulk up before or after the U.S. Open. I remember seeing him at his first tourney of the season (in the last few years) and was struck by how wide his shoulders had gotten.
    Seemed pretty clear he'd hit the weights pretty hard.

    And lets be honest, to many athletes they hear "cutting edge treatment" not "borderline illegal treatment" when it is being pitched to them. Trainers pitch new treatments and workouts like those guys at the cell phone kiosk at the mall - check this out, brand new, does amazing things...
