    Hell, there's enough white people better than me at basketball that I couldn't make a go of it in that league either.

    White basketball players are essentially ’shut out’ of conventional professional basketball due to the proliferation of players who can actually play worth a shit.

    The guy behind this is a small-time huckster with a background in pro boxing and wrestling whose greatest fame was losing a case to one of his fighters on the "Judge Joe Brown" show. He also proposed an XFL-inspired basketball league that would have a franchise in Harlem. This guy is less a stone racist than he is reading the teabag leaves of a potential audience.
