    Spare yourself the sequel novel, which is basically a rerun over the same ground he just plowed with a generous dash of sexism and misogyny thrown in.

    I'm nearing the end of Season 1 of For All Mankind.

    I really enjoyed it for a while but man, the back half of this first season is dark. I hope things brigthen up here before the finale, but maybe dark is just what it is.

    Agreed and his other book, Armada, wasnt that good. Better than RP2 but its been diminishing returns since the original, unfortunately

    He knocked the first one out of the park. It has to be tough to follow that, particularly since Ready Player One had to have been percolating in his head for years before he sold it.
