Eh, it's early in the season. I never underestimate the Dookies, at least not until tourney time comes around.

Very true dreunc....enjoyed how the radio guys kept calling Jon Scheyer, Jon Shower. Scheyer can ball and would have looked great in Illini orange.

Exactly. The Jayhawks began last season 3-4 and some people on this board talked about how KU would miss the NCAA Tournament, no question. Then went into the NCAA Tournament winning 15 of 16. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

(Nevermind KU's first-round exit, they did finish well last season.)

It's pretty clear watching this IU-Butler game just how important Killingsworth was to Indiana last year. They just have no offense outside of D.J. White on this year's team.

Butler knocks off Indiana by 5 at Conseco. Do IU fans want Sampson's head yet?

He's not a guy returning this season, but if you want to see how the Larry Eustachy basketball rehabilitation project is coming, check out this demanding schedule. I think the Golden Eagles will be in Kansas City playing for the NAIA championship this year.

*Sigh* UB's bid for an undefeated season is no more.

Paul Harris and the 'Cuse are 3-0

Smokey ... UMass is playing at Savannah State, too. I don't get it either. I covered a football game there this year. Yikes. Savannah's a wonderful city. The SSU campus? Eh, a little dicey. JUCO facilities at best.

I'd just like to say that I love me some Winthrop right about now.
