I never got the Monte Cristo.
A ham and cheese, dipped in pancake batter and deep fried.
Then served with powdered sugar and jam.
Just strange and thanks for this.
Guess which guy is now working on a Bennigan's closing story?

Farewell to a restaurant so magnificent that it can make you forget that your dad goes to gay bathhouses and your mom tried to kill you Susan Smith-style. Special place, it was.

Those were amazing. I could never even come close to finishing one.

I thought I was the only one who loved that gem. Best thing on the menu.

With less disposable income around, count on more restaurant chain closings.

Add me to the Monte Cristo disciples. They also introduced me to the Southwestern eggroll. I went to one around Christmas and it smelled and looked of death, except they were still serving.

Guess purgatory needed a sit-down chain to compete with Darryl's

The Bennigan's locations here are staying open. They're franchised, not corporate-owned.
