    She did everyone a tremendous service by writing about her ordeal. Cancer didn't beat Alicia Parlette. She just ran out of time. RIP.

    When my aunt was dying from breast cancer, I sent her links to the Parlette series, which she thought were tremendous. She read all of them.

    I stopped reading them because they fucked me up royally. Amazing writer... RIP...
