I'm confused- Wouldn't Alford have been in New Mexico locker room:

"To his credit, Tavernari went to the BYU locker room after the game to apologize to Alford. In what looked like a fairly even match of assholishness, why did the player have to be the one to say sorry? Shouldn't we be holding coaches to a higher standard? Maybe, but Mormons tend to hold themselves to the highest."

Alford's dad would have never done that.

Wow . . . I guess Alford really does want to show Indiana fans that he would be a great fit there.

Don't want to make excuses for a coach who should know better, but the BYU player did make an ass out of himself several times in the closing minutes.

    Sure did.

Frequent displays lacking in grace have emerged from that program's football and basketball activities when things don't go their way. Tsk, tsk.

Alford's exhibited this behavior before. He will talk to opposing players way too much. When UNM played Southern Miss once some of their players didn't shake hands at the end of the game. Cameras caught him shouting to some of them, "I'll light your ass up!"

Oh but dearie me, you can't say anything dirty to them because they are oh-so-holy Mormons.
