    I was a kid when Reagan was shot and Haig's announcement was the first time I realized that there are other people working at the White House. (I know, naive. But I was a kid).

    I mention politics because I didn't want this shifting into a Republican/Democrat shitfest with Reagan-haters, etc. You know that it could, and I hope that it doesn't.
