Alex Trebek/Jeopardy Tribute Thread

I didn't clkck on that but watched it tonight.
Alex was genuinely broken up.

 

I watched Monday night, and he didn't sound good at all, so this is reassuring. I'm assuming it might have just been some aftereffects from chemo that made him sound so raspy.

 

Chemo is basically poisoning you to the point that you don't quite die in hopes that the cancer dies before you do. That's a tough road.

Prayers and best wishes to Alex and every other poor soul who gets that horrible affliction.

Oh god, I saw this thread pop up an almost didn't click.

 

Regardless of whatever comes next - I am glad viewers and players have had a chance to express their appreciation for Trebek to him personally. The All-Time TOC in primetime and the other special programming. Jeopardy is one of the few things in this country that seems to bring everyone together. Hell, even the NFL got dragged into the culture wars.

 

He hasn't sounded great lately. I think there's about a two-month lag between tapings and airings? I guess that would've been around the new year.

When I saw this thread pop to the top, I definitely thought, "Fuck you, 2020." Glad he's doing well.
