    The Notebook on Oxygen would be good term to describe the current state of journalism.

    Hopefully this won't require me to turn in my man card ... :D ... but I want to know why Sparks let them kill both Noah and Allie at the end. He wouldn't let the screenwriters change the crappy ending to Message in a Bottle ... why did he let them do that to The Notebook?

    (There's a sequel to "The Notebook" called "The Wedding," with Noah prominently featured. I haven't read "The Notebook," but I figured if Noah's alive and well in a sequel, then he can't have been killed off in the first book.)
