But, based on his comments to the GOthamist, he's still in denial:

The guy is a clown. Or a douchebag. Whatever you prefer.

He's also hilarious. I love his work.

Some of the humor stuff he's done works so well because he appears to be so self-aware. And then he does stuff in his personal life that makes you think he has no self-awareness at all. He's a real enigma.

    Well put. Also:

"Look how Greenzo's testing. They love him in every demographic: colored people, broads, fairies, commies... gosh, we've gotta update these forms."

WTF was in the water in the Baldwin home growing up?

He's funny as shit and a gifted comic actor, but I would be amazed if he is not a complete ass in person.

Anderson Cooper had the stones to call it:

Wonder if he'll lose his Food Network shows and diabetes drug endorsement.

Part of the reason people like Baldwin is because he's such a loose cannon.

He was at the funeral of a friend, someone he worked with on Broadway and someone went after his wife... Baldwin has a rough relationship with the paparazzi as is, which is likely why his wife was targeted.

Good for him for defending her. His word choice was questionable, but I don't know... these days people have to apologize for everything because everybody gets offended by everything.

This registers as about a 2 on the offendometer.

He shouldn't have used those words, but people really need to get a grip.

No way. When you call a gay reporter a toxic little queen, and say that you would put your foot up his ass, except he might like it, that's viciously anti-gay -- not just anti the reporter.

Folks have every reason to be offended by his words.
