Not exactly answering your question, but saw this and found it interesting : They have just two starters left from their super bowl defense and only 6 of the 22 Super Bowl starters overall. (Per Twitter)

 

Pretty awesome scuttlebutt (largely via TMZ) that:

1) Smith and Kaepernick got into a brawl at practice Tuesday;

2) The brawl was over a woman named Nesssa who is a TV personality, Smith's former girlfriend and recently seen with Kap Aldon Smith Got in an Altercation With Colin Kaepernick, Possibly Over TV/Radio Host Nessa | The Big Lead

3) The incident that led to the DUI was not an accident but was the result of Smith intentionally smashing up Kaepernick's car.

No. 3 seems to be plausibly denied. “I don’t drive a Mercedes, let’s put it that way,” Kap said.

As for No. 1, reporters say there was no fight at the afternoon practice, but they don't see the morning session.

All parties are sidestepping No. 2, which appears to be true based on Instagram history.
