    I love that album because it sounds like a Greatest Hits collection, but it's not. Honey Bee, baby!

    Thirty years later I can still hear any song off that album and want to play the whole thing. Not a weak track anywhere on it.

    Any time I put that CD on, it takes me right back to the summer on the lake the year I turned 17. Great memories. In fact, better than memories. It's more like a transference.

    I'd second that.

    Throw in "Silk Degrees" by Boz Scaggs, circa 1976; "Sneakin' Sally Throug the Alley" by Robert Palmer, same era, and "Abandoned Luncheonette" by Hall & Oates, same era, and you've got blue-eyed soul covered for two decades.

    All great albums I own, but haven't listened to in many, many years.

    One of the other CDs I took back from my parents house was Sand in the Vaseline: Popular Favorites.

    I had a four-hour drive ahead of me upon leaving. This was the first (double) disc I put on in the car.
