Albany determined not to put out paper

    I've never seen our city editor leave before 8 p.m. Another fallacy.

    I've never seen ours leave before 8 either. She generally leaves around 10, but more so around 11 more times than not. Of course, we're a small shop so she carries a lot more duties than that of the standard city editor.

    Yes and the section would be "planned out" with its lead story for 2 weeks in advance, breaking news be damned. There would be a lot of dandy stories on what fans think about the stadium the team plays in; an outside the box story on the shoes runners wear these days; a great piece on Little League and if the little tykes look up to big leaguers still amid the steroid scandals; a great story on Title Nine, make that a five part series; whether the local teams have enough water for their fall practices. All riveting stuff.
