There will be some place that will hire her because of the publicity it would bring. The publicity would be very short-lived, and it would be a dumb reason to make a hire, but there will be some station that will do it.

Everyone always says that. I can't think of a single time it's ever happened.

No station is going to hire a reporter because she went on the Today show to talk about her blog post about how she steals and hates old people. There is no publicity boost there.

She might land a job with The Onion News Network.

This is probably the quote of the century. In fact, I think instead of "freshman orientation" where they take all of the students to the library to teach them how to find a book, they should teach them this.

Only instead of just once, this class should be taught every year. Every. Single. Year.

Shit, she got 60 days severance. That's pretty generous.

Well she can afford a plane ticket to LA then.

How ridiculously dumb do you have to be for the thoughts "I have $148 in my checking account" and "I'm about to do something that could get me fired" to never intersect in your brain?

The fact that she is able to get through an ordinary day with her level of mental acuity is a miracle in the first place.

Probably because she was also thinking "I'm too cute to get fired."

Was that for her, or me?
